We offer wood durability testing and consultancy services. Laurie has over 30 years experience with Wood Preservation, Decay Fungi, Termites, Marine Borers, Lyctus Borers, Natural Durability and Timber Treatments.

The wood durability trials we offer in Australia include:

• Timber tests in the wet tropics against fungi and termites.
  

• Fungal laboratory bioassays such as the 'soil block test'.
  

• Sea trials against marine borers.
  

• Termite field trials (Coptotermes, Mastotermes).
  

Laurie also has research interests (general biology, entomology) through his adjunct position with the School of Biological Sciences, Monash University.
